1. Delivery & Transit
We dispatch our shop purchases and completed custom works using secure, trackable shipping methods. Within the UK, items valued under £1,000 are shipped via Royal Mail Special Delivery (guaranteed by 1pm next day and fully insured). To ensure absolute security for high-value items, all shop purchases or custom commissions valued at £1,000 or more are dispatched via a specialist, fully insured private courier service (such as DHL Express or dedicated fine art transporters) rather than standard postal systems. For larger furniture, paintings, or glass panels, we organize dedicated private art courier services.
Delivery timeframes for made-to-order collections and bespoke orders vary and will be confirmed during checkout or design consultation.
Important: Custom Bespoke Exemptions
Under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, distance selling rules grant consumers a 14-day cancellation window. However, bespoke, custom-made, engraved, re-sized, or remodelled gold/silver items are strictly exempt from these regulations.
Because these items are tailored to individual measurements or forged using your personal scrap gold, we cannot accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for any custom commission, remodelling box order, or modified ring once work has commenced.
2. Standard Curated Shop Returns
For non-custom items purchased directly from our online drops (such as ready-to-wear jewellery items, unframed prints, small ceramics, or ready-made blankets):
- You have 14 days from the date of receipt to notify us by email at polly@wildmeadowstudio.co.uk that you wish to return your item.
- The item must be returned in its original, unworn, and unwashed condition, wrapped in its forest wax paper and enclosed in its flax linen pouch, with all protective seals intact.
- You are responsible for return shipping costs. We strongly recommend returning items using Royal Mail Special Delivery or an equivalent trackable, insured service, as we cannot issue refunds for items lost or damaged in return transit.
3. Faulty or Defective Items
We take extreme pride in the structural integrity of every piece hand-crafted at our studio benches. If, however, your item arrives damaged or possesses a manufacturing defect:
Please contact us within 30 days of receipt with detailed photographs of the issue. Upon validation, we will arrange for a fully insured return label and will prioritize repair, adjustment, or replacement of the item at our expense. If the item is unique and cannot be replicated, a full refund will be processed back to your original payment method.
