The Hernhill Oak Leaf Band
01 / Sourcing & Discovery
To create this band, we collect fallen oak leaves from the ancient trees surrounding our Hernhill studio. Each leaf is selected for its distinct shape, size, and crisp vein detail.
02 / Meticulous Handcraft
Using the lost-wax casting method, the real oak leaf is burned away in the kiln, leaving a perfect cavity that is injected with molten sterling silver. This means the leaf's organic form is permanently captured in metal. Polly hand-rolls the band and applies a gentle oxidization to highlight the deep vein structures.
03 / Character & Living
Designed for those who want an alternative wedding band or a signature daily ring. It has a beautiful, tactile texture that you will find yourself running your thumb over throughout the day.
