Bronze Hazel Twig Hairpin
01 / Sourcing & Discovery
We gather fallen hazel twigs from the woods surrounding our Hernhill studio to find branches with beautiful bark textures and natural growth buds.
02 / Meticulous Handcraft
Each twig is cast in solid bronze using the lost-wax casting method, capturing the bark texture in metal. Polly hand-burnishes the hairpin, leaving a dark fireplace patina in the hollows and polishing the highlights to a soft golden glow.
03 / Character & Living
A beautiful, functional piece for securing long hair. The organic twig shape adds a natural detail to daily wear, holding your hair in a secure, sculptural style.
