Stained Glass Botanical Lantern
01 / Sourcing & Discovery
This brass lantern hung in a small Methodist chapel near Faversham. When we found it, the glass panels were missing and the brass was heavily tarnished, but the structure remained strong.
02 / Meticulous Handcraft
We cleaned the brass frame to restore a warm gold finish while keeping its age wear. Our resident glass artisan cut replacement panels from salvaged Victorian colored glass, lead-soldering them to depict ivy and hazel leaf outlines.
03 / Character & Living
Designed to hold a pillar candle, this lantern casts beautiful, colored leaf patterns across a room when lit, adding the calm glow of historic chapel lighting to a hallway or veranda.
