Hand-Forged Bronze Twig Candlesticks
01 / Sourcing & Discovery
We gather fallen hazel twigs from the woods surrounding our Hernhill studio to select pieces with beautiful growth rings and organic textures.
02 / Meticulous Handcraft
The twigs are cast in solid bronze using the lost-wax casting method. Polly applies a dark charcoal patina using liver of sulphur, then hand-burnishes the highlights to bring out the bark texture and growth ring details.
03 / Character & Living
These candlesticks bring a sculptural, natural detail to a dining table or mantelpiece. They hold standard dinner candles, casting warm light that highlights the bronze bark textures.
