The Hernhill Clay & Linen Incense Crucible
01 / Sourcing & Discovery
Made to order. The clay is dug from local Kentish riverbeds, and the incense is made from sawdust gathered from our woodshop pine cuttings.
02 / Meticulous Handcraft
The crucible is hand-thrown on the wheel, retaining a simple, rustic form. Fired to stoneware, it is paired with a small linen coaster woven on our floor loom and 10 hand-rolled pine wood incense cones.
03 / Character & Living
Lighting the pine incense creates a quiet, woodsmoke atmosphere in the home, filling the room with the natural scent of the woodshop and Kentish pine forests.
