The Mourning Star Ring
01 / Sourcing & Discovery
Sourced from a collection in Faversham, this ring dates to the late Victorian mourning period (circa 1890). Star-set onyx jewellery from this era was worn as a quiet tribute to lost family members.
02 / Meticulous Handcraft
We cleaned the 9ct gold band to restore its warm luster while preserving the light surface character on the onyx face. The hand-engraved star setting remains sharp, holding the tablet securely in place.
03 / Character & Living
A classic signet ring with a dark, moody edge. Its low profile makes it comfortable for daily wear, bringing a historic, gothic romance to your jewellery collection.
