The central carnelian intaglio was carved 1,800 years ago during the Roman Empire, depicting the goddess Minerva. We sourced this seal from a London collection of antiquities.

To house this artifact, Polly hand-forged a heavy signet ring setting from solid 22ct yellow gold, using hand-built charcoal furnaces and traditional hammers to replicate the raw texture of ancient Roman goldwork.
